About this product
The Mizuno JM01 140 Elite Junior Complete Set is a new, complete club set for ages 10-12, right-handed. It features graphite shafts with a junior flex and standard lie angle. The set includes a stock grip and is not customizable. It is a store line product, indicating it is a standard retail offering. The set is designed to provide young golfers with a full set of clubs to advance their skills.
Our take
The JM01 140 Elite set offers a trade-off: it is essentially the same as the standard JM01 140 but with the 'Elite' label, yet it comes at the same price of $499.99. The specs are identical—graphite shafts, junior flex, standard lie—so the Elite designation may be more about marketing than performance. For parents, this means they are paying the same for a set that might have minor cosmetic differences or a different grip. The set is right-handed only, and the lack of customization options means it's a one-size-fits-all solution. However, for a junior aged 10-12, this set provides a complete package that will serve them well as they develop. The trade-off is that there is no clear advantage over the standard set, so buyers should consider if the Elite badge is worth it.
